BRIGGS & RILEY BASELINE 21

“You’re an adult – stop buying shitty luggage,” was precisely how a former boss scolded me when she saw my ratty suitcase on a business trip. “You’ll spend more over time buying crap than you will buying quality that lasts.” Which is how I ended up with the Briggs & Rily Baseline 21. I bought mine in 2011 and it’s still going strong today.

It has room for everything, including a suit that folds into the top, and a unique expansion system that helps you compress the luggage to fit the overhead bin. That alone has repaid the cost of this (not-cheap) bag many times over in luggage fees I would’ve had to pay.

Seriously – you’re an adult now. Stop buying shitty luggage. Spring for at least one piece that will last.
